Artificial Insemination

Dakotah completed the cattle artificial insemination course at Linn Benton Community College and is ready to come breed your cows! We are happy to assist in choosing an estrus synchronization protocol- but cannot provide any prescription medications. CIDR's and Estrotect Patches can be provided at an additional cost.

Pricing-

$100 minimum call-out fee (includes breeding one cow)

$20 per head after the first head

​Additional travel charges may apply for extended distances.

Semen Availability & Storage Policy-

​

We typically have a limited selection of beef and dairy semen available. Clients are encouraged to plan ahead for their breeding needs. 

​

Pre-orders for semen (beef and dairy) are accepted and can be stored with us for use during the upcoming breeding season. Please note- any semen not used or claimed by the end of the season will become property of Hilltop Cattle and will not be refunded or returned. $5/ straw storage through the breeding season. Shipping costs for preordered semen will be shared equally among all participating clients on that order.

Auctioneer

Please reach out for pricing. Pricing will vary based on event size, location, and duration. Hunter completed his schooling at the Western College of Auctioneering and is ready to serve you! Open to all event types including but not limited to, benefit auctions, livestock auctions, and private events.

Additional Services

Please reach out for pricing on various services. Services are open but not limited to- county fair clipping, showmanship coaching, tagging, banding, vaccinating, etc. We look forward to assisting you and your cattle!
