Hunter was raised around a commercial cattle farm. He grew up helping on the farm from raising cattle to baling hay. As soon as his age allowed, he began raising and selling market steers through the Lane County Youth Fair. His family background grew into a passion for raising show cattle. Hunter graduated in 2023 and attended the Western College of Auctioneering and is pursuing a career in that as well.

Dakotah grew up with a love for horses. She owned a horse for several years and enjoyed competing in multiple disciplines. Her passion for the agricultural industry was quickly expanded after meeting Hunter. The Drews family assisted her in raising her first market steer in her junior year of high school. Cattle have been a passion of hers ever since. Dakotah is now attending Linn Benton Community College pursuing a degree in Animal Technology. Her courses have allowed her to receive hands on training with cattle artificial insemination and she plans to follow a career in that path.
